Summer's Here

The most simple yet perfect summer outfit from Topshop inspired by Stella McCartney spring/summer '08.

It's All In The Details

I love street style blogs and one of my regularly visits is the blog Emma's Closet. The owner is Emma Nygren, a twenty-year old Sweedish girl. Her style is just unbelievably cool. Her outfits are always daring but still not over-the-top. I love it when people can achieve that effortless look, because I think that you shouldn't look like you spent hours picking outfits even if you did. The thing that caught my eye, were the details. Her clothes aren't all designer or vintage, though she mixes that in too. She shops in cheap chain stores like everyone but somehow manages to not look like everyone else. It's the details, her incredible eye for style and pairing that you couldn't have thought of.

Check out Emma's Closet for more outfit inspiration.

Pink Jeans - Two Outfits

I haven't posted a lot on this blog, but I'm going to post often. It's going to be short posts with wish lists and my opinions on all things fashion.

I'm a huge fan of Urban Outfitters and I spotted these neon pink jeans and put together two outfits.

I love the Jesus tee with matching Converse.

The tie dye tank is perfect with the ikat printed scarf.

Balenciaga vs Topshop

I spotted a dress on the Topshop website a couple of weeks ago and I thought it remindend me of Balenciaga's SS08 dresses.

It's got the same idea - they've got similiar shapes but the Topshop one is more wearable and suitable for 'real life'. The prints are different though - the dress from Balenciaga has a floral pattern but the Topshop dress has an ombre techinque. It's great to catch Balenciaga's look for less.

All Saints

I'm in love with the UK brand All Saints at the moment. It's a high street store with avarage prices, maybe a bit in the pricier range of high street stores, but the designs are really unique and well-thought. The shapes are a bit different, and sometimes a bit odd. That's what makes it different and so interesting.

They make the cosiest and most gorgeous knitwear. It's light and often slightly oversized, and drapes perfectly on the body. I personally think knitwear looks better when it's not skin tight. The printed t-shirts always have arty prints and are in manly shapes. It's not all oversized t-shirts and light knitwear, they also make gorgeous dresses. Their coats and leather jackets are also great.

In the use of colour, they aren't big on splashy, strong colours. They always have something black, grey and ivory. Then colours vary after seasons, like this fall they have a really light shade of pink, warm blue and green, navy and salmon. They also have a good variety of prints including stripes and plaids.

It's rock chic with romantic flair and arty prints.

All Saints will definitly be on my christmas wish list.
