This Weeks Best Outfits

Sienna Miller in London on December 10. The perfect city chic outfit, love the shoes and her Louis Vuitton Nimbus GM bag.

Kate Moss leaving her North London home on Dec 10. The black-and-white Fendi fur jacket is so glamorous.

Sarah Jessica Parker in LA on December 10. SJP knows her stuff. The Christian Louboutin heels give the otherwise black outfit a hint of colour.

Lauren Conrad at The Hills Season Three Finale Party at Area in Hollywood on Dec 10. It's nothing knew for Lauren wearing these kind of dresses, but it's still cute.

Diane Kruger looks gorgeous in an orange gown at the premiere of the film 'National Treasure: Book Of Secrets' in New York, December 13.

Blake Lively attends the 'Solomon R. Guggenheim Young Collectors Council Artist’s Ball' in New York, December 13. I love Blake's white dress with the black tights and heels.

Piper Perabo attends the 'Solomon R. Guggenheim Young Collectors Council Artist’s Ball' in New York, December 13. The dress is colourful - in this beautiful purple shade. I just think the shoes could've been black.

The Spice Girls' Victoria Beckham and Geri at a photo call on December 13. Love both of these dresses, just don't like Geri's white boots.

All Saints

I'm in love with the UK brand All Saints at the moment. It's a high street store with avarage prices, maybe a bit in the pricier range of high street stores, but the designs are really unique and well-thought. The shapes are a bit different, and sometimes a bit odd. That's what makes it different and so interesting.

They make the cosiest and most gorgeous knitwear. It's light and often slightly oversized, and drapes perfectly on the body. I personally think knitwear looks better when it's not skin tight. The printed t-shirts always have arty prints and are in manly shapes. It's not all oversized t-shirts and light knitwear, they also make gorgeous dresses. Their coats and leather jackets are also great.

In the use of colour, they aren't big on splashy, strong colours. They always have something black, grey and ivory. Then colours vary after seasons, like this fall they have a really light shade of pink, warm blue and green, navy and salmon. They also have a good variety of prints including stripes and plaids.

It's rock chic with romantic flair and arty prints.

All Saints will definitly be on my christmas wish list.

A Room Of My Own

I'm rearranging my room at the moment so I've been looking for some inspiration from magazines like Teen Vogue (the 'A Room Of My Own' at the last page in each issue, and their room makeovers), and also Harper's Bazaar ('A Fashionable Life' where famous people let us see their fashionable homes). I've scanned in some of my favourite rooms and I'll post it here for some inspiration.
Here's Aerin Lauder in Harper's Bazaar June 07

The flowers bring some life into the room - they're always classic.

I love the Z desk!

The modern mirror table mixes perfectly with the vintage wallpaper.

Here are the rooms from Teen Vogue

This closet is amazing. I would love to have this bright and accessable walk-in closet!

Perfect for small spaces.

I love a big and comfy bed.

Mirrors are great for making a room look bigger.

Magazine pages and personal photos are perfect for decorating walls.

I would never have thought that a tree could look good in a bedroom. I love the mirrors and the see-through chair.

I'm thinking about getting a white closet that has a bit of a vintage flair, and either a glass/mirror table or something like that in the photo above. Then, of course, I'll decorate with beautiful mirrors, (scented) candles and flowers.

Good Thing Come In Small Packages

As a celebration of their 140th anniversary, Harper’s Bazaar publish a rather different editorial, featuring smaller editions of top designers.
The 10-page spread, photographed by Peter Lindbergh, features the Class of 2007, with children dressed up as designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Alber Elbaz, Donatella Versace, John Galliano, Miuccia Prada, Olivier Theyskens and Stella McCartney, standing next to model Chanel Iman in an outfit from each designer.
According to Glenda Bailey, editor in chief of the magazine, “Even though these designers are monumental talents, good things come in small sizes.”
I love Harper's Bazaar's creative ideas, like the Simpson spread, how amazing was that?

Hair Dilemma

I have really troubled hair, I have to wash it everyday - I know you're not supposed to do that, but I have to, 'cause I want go out of the house with dirty hair (like, sadly, some people do). I can't seem to find the right shampoo and I always have to curl it or straighten it or put it up in a bun or ponytail. If I don't do something with it, I get ugly waves...not the cool just-got-out-of-bed waves but the one-wave thing. I'm getting so frustrated about it. I started thinking that all these problems might be due to the fact that I'm not using the right hair products (but I've tested all kinds of shampoos and nothing seems to do the trick). So I bumped into this article about how to wash your hair properly and it made me interesting. I'm always kinda rushing when I'm in the shower - not really noticing what I'm doing. But the article made me think about it and I think my hair looked a lot better yesterday when I actually took time to massage my scalp. Check out the article on BellaSugar.

Evan Rachel Wood's Nylon Cover

In the September issue of Nylon, Evan Rachel Wood talks about her relationship with Marilyn Mansoon. “I’ve grown up in an adult world, so I’m mature. But at the same time, I can’t deny my actual age.”
I don't really know what I think about this relationship, he's like 15 years older than ther or something? Well, if they're in love...

Like the photoshoot :)
